John West
Graces the Schantz Celebration Pipe Organ
John West has enjoyed a career that has taken him worldwide from Russia to South America and throughout North America, including national appearances with the prestigious New York Philharmonic, with the Los Angeles Master Chorale in the Disney Concert Hall and in Ottawa, Canada, to rave reviews.
Mr. West is also very active as a performer and musician in film, stage and television. Recording extensively, he is also a renowned choral and vocal works composer. His uplifting spiritual song, “Heaven’s Hands,” was used to open the Vienna Music Festival in Vienna, Austria, on May 2011, performed with a full orchestra and a 100-voice choir before an audience of 10,000.
He has been a featured artist and clinician for the American Guild of Organists locally, regionally and nationally.
He will help us welcome the spirit of Advent with special seasonal music.
