Comedian, Chatsworth Resident Sinbad Files for Bankruptcy

Comedian Sinbad, best known for his stand-up and short-lived TV show, filed for bankruptcy, saying he has $11 million in debt, according to TV week.

The Chatsworth resident says about $8.3 million of that amount is owed to the IRS in taxes from 1998-2006.

Sinbad also filed for bankruptcy in 2009, but that case was dismissed because he reportedly didn't file the right documents. Click here to read the full story.

He starred in a Fox sitcom named after him that lasted from 1993-94 and for starring in films like Jingle All the Way.
