Actress and Master: Eva Longoria Earns CSUN Graduate Degree

The popular TV actress makes a personal achievement off-screen.

During her last few years as a desperate housewife on ABC, actress Eva Longoria was bouncing between Wisteria Lane and CSUN, where she recently earned a master's degree in Chicano studies.

The 38-year-old actress spent the last three years studying in Northridge, according to TMZLongoria's thesis was titled Success STEMS From Diversity: The Value of Latinas in STEM Careers." STEM is short for science, technology, engineering and math.

She's best known for her role as Gabrielle Solis on ABC's Desperate Housewives, which ran from 2004-12.
