Sierra Canyon Students Raise Money for Hurricane Sandy Relief

For every tweet that includes the hashtag #PatchRebuilds, Patch will also make a donation.

After Hurricane Sandy, students at Sierra Canyon School wanted to help the relief efforts on the East Coast.

In only three days, both the Lower and Upper Schools held bake sales, with $3,000 in proceeds from the food items and relief wristbands went to several organizations that are helping those in need from the superstorm.

Patch is also assisting the relief efforts. For every tweet that includes the hashtag #PatchRebuilds, Patch will donate $1 to AmeriCares Superstorm Sandy Relief Efforts, up to $125,000.

Check out the official Patch Rebuilds page to see a live tracker of money being raised to help Hurricane Sandy victims.
