PHOTOS: Gateway to Business District Gets a Facelift

The overpass on Reseda Boulevard and Parthenia Street was cleaned by just a handful of community members.

From Andrea Alvarado, chairwoman of Northridge Sparkle:

More than 20 years of city neglect got a new facelift today.

The overpass on Reseda Boulevard and Parthenia Street was cleaned by just a handful of community members led by Don Larson, who has fixed the pigeon droppings problem, and brought back the shine to the two beautiful murals under the bridge.

This is the entryway into Northridge's Business District that now "sparkles" and the murals are something to be proud of.
