It was a difficult task, but judges from the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council considered hundreds of elementary and middle school entries in the annual "Day of the Horse" safety poster contest.
And the winner is ... well, wait a moment.
The contest was open to any child in grades K-8 who attends school in Chatsworth, or lives in Chatsworth, or whose parents or grandparents are Chatsworth residents.
And the winner of a ribbon and a trophy which passes from winner to winner every year is... well, hold your horses.
You'll be able to see all the winners on display, 2 p.m., Sunday, April 17, when awards are presented at the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council's free "Day of the Horse" family celebration at Stoney Point Ranch, 10861 Andora St.
But you don't have to wait. Chatsworth Patch has all the winners right here. Just click on through all the artwork on the Viewfinder.
Oh yeah, the "Overall Winner," is Sieng Ly, an 8th grader at Lawrence Middle School.
Congratulations Sieng Ly.
