Gallery: Festival of the Trees Silent Auction Ends

Fundraiser benefits Northridge Hospital's Richie Pediatric Trauma Center.

The Festival of the Trees concludes Saturday with silent-auction winners claiming their Yuletide decorations.

This second-annual fundraiser to benefit the Richie Pediatric Trauma Center at Northridge Hospital runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Granada Hills Town Center at 18040-A Chatsworth St.

The Trauma Center is the only one in the Valley specializing in young patients.

The large festival storefront holds displays of decorated trees, wreaths, centerpieces, and handmade quilts. There's a kids craft corner, a stage for live entertainment, sweets for sale, and of course, an opportunity for photos with Santa and his pet therapy dogs.

General admission to the festivities is $3 for adults and $1 for children 12 and younger.

More information is available at http://www.supportnorthridge.org and (818) 885-5341 ext. 3.
