Trails Day - Open House
Come visit our specially created exhibits that show stagecoach seating, how the quarry split rocks, reptiles, native american exhibits, and railroad and movie history - it all took place in our very own Santa Susana Pass State Historic Park.
Saturday, May 19 will include a variety of volunteers showing the above, as well as a small cave sure to please your children, between 9am and 12pm. Guides will take visitors to the above stations each half hour starting at 9 am until 11:30 am, and provide additional information along the way about history and anything else that interests participants, from local critters to plants.
Wear good tennis shoes, bring some water, hats and sunscreen, and come walk our interpretive trail for about a 2.5 mile easy walk to see our history come alive!
Go west on Devonshire until it ends. Turn left at Larwin, park along the street; the entrance is just down the street at the power lines.
