MIlitary Tribute In Leather

The Military tribute leather carving created by leathercraft student Anne Newkold from Newkold’s Leather Emporium is a carving to honor all Veterans and active duty Military. A small way of showing appreciation and saying Thank You for all they have sacrificed.

Many members of Anne’s family have been in 4 of the 5 branches of our Armed Forces and when creating this piece she said,”All those who put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms should be honored everyday not just holidays. “

This creation is the first of two that will be on display at Standing Bear’s Trading Post. The 2nd is a 3-D embossed carving entitled “All Gave Some, Some Gave All” created by Anne Newkold and James Geigan.
