CSUN Showing Works of Prolific Album, Poster Artist
Many works by John Van Hamersveld will be on display through Oct. 12.
Albums like The Beatles’ Magical Mystery Tour and The Rolling Stones’ Exile on Main Street have long since become classics, as have their cover art.
With those and more than 300 other iconic albums and movie posters attributed to his vision artist John Van Hamersveld has amassed quite the following.
"It just unfolds,” he told CBS2. “It just comes out of the unconscious behavior.”
The network reports that CSUN is honoring the Palos Verdes native with his own gallery running through Oct. 12.
