51-Mile Bike Path Project Along L.A. River Announced
The recently opened Los Angeles River won't just be for kayakers to enjoy come the end of the decade.
A new project plan was unveiled Tuesday that aims to install a bike path along all of the river's 51 miles from Simi Hills to Long Beach, according to Curbed L.A.
Dubbed Greenway 2020, the public/private partnership that is the Los Angeles River Corporation aims to lay down the bike path over the next decade, along with "parks, gathering space, and dining amenities."
