2-Day Cleanup Tidies Up Reseda Boulevard

More than a 100 volunteers got their hands dirty over the weekend to spruce up Reseda Boulevard south of Parthenia in Northridge.

CSUN students, and people on behalf of Giving Church and Don Larson's Das Bauhaus were among those who stepped up to the plate to lend a hand with picking up trash, trash, pulling down unwanted poster signs, sweeping and cleaning out tree wells, and cleaning the underpass in Northridge Village.

The garage doors behind Joyce's Coffee Shop also got a fresh coat of paint.

"This is Northridge Sparkle's most successful clean-up ever, and shows that 2-Day Cleanups are the way to go," said Andrea Alvarado." There's still more work to be done and we're looking forward to it growing and getting bigger and better as we see developers interested in our community."
