Community Corner

Santa Susana Mtns Volunteers

Are you interested in nature? Sharing your love for the outdoors with others? Meeting others in the community?
Join the Santa Susana Pass State Historic Park volunteers…and you can accomplish all three—plus more!
The Santa Susana volunteers lead educational and interpretive programs for the public, help keep the park clean and safe, and protect the natural and cultural resources of the park. The volunteering schedule is relatively flexible, and the opportunities diverse.
On May 31st and June 12th, California State Parks is offering volunteer training to anyone interested in becoming a State Parks volunteer. (All volunteers must participate in this training.)
Volunteering gets you benefits only available to park volunteers and it's a fun way to share your appreciation of our environment. If you are interested in learning more about volunteering or for signing up for one of the training days, please contact us at: santasusanafriends@gmail.com
and park staff member will get in touch to give you more information. Thanks!
