United States University Offers Special Summer Session for Local Students

United States University has added a reduced-rate Special Summer Session to its academic calendar, from June 4-July 29, 2012. The university is also offering all local and online college students tuition vouchers for the Special Summer Session, which entitle students to $250 off one course, or $500 off any two courses. Many community colleges in the area, including San Diego Miramar, Mesa and City Colleges, Grossmont College, and Southwestern College, are offering limited, if any, summer courses due to the state budget crisis, which means many students may not graduate on time. US University is offering this Special Summer Session and tuition voucher in an effort to help students complete their studies in a timely manner and avoid delaying graduation.

In addition to the discounted tuition vouchers, US University is offering the following benefits to students during its Special Summer Session:

  • Courses cost $500 each
  • Choose from 15 general education courses
  • Transferable to any California Community College
  • All courses are held online or at the San Diego campus
  • No textbooks required
  • Free parking
  • Includes 2 free transcripts to be sent to desired colleges
  • Application fee of $15

Students can sign-up for a tuition voucher by visiting US University’s Facebook page, and can apply online. A full class schedule is available online at www.usuniversity.edu/summer. For more information or to speak with an enrollment advisor, students are invited to visit www.usuniversity.edu or call (888) 422-3381.
