Valley Family Festival Saturday in Northridge
Family-friendly film, 'Puss in Boots,' will be shown under the stars at Northridge Recreation Center.
Set aside Saturday for fun with the family, and head to the Valley Family Festival and Movies Under the Stars at Northridge Recreation Center, 10058 Reseda Blvd.
From 3 to 9 p.m. enjoy entertainment including live music, dance performances, and games. Choose from a variety of gourmet food trucks. Learn about local businesses and community resources. Kids can participate in face painting, bouncers, arts and crafts, and a climbing wall.
At sundown there will be a free outdoor screening of the animated hit film Puss in Boots. Bring blankets, chairs and picnics. BBQs and alcohol are not allowed.

Sponsors include the city Department of Recreation and Parks along with Councilmember Mitch Englander, Kiwanis Club of Northridge, Chatsworth Neighborhood Council, Northridge South Neighborhood Council, Northridge West Neighborhood Council, and Porter Ranch Neighborhood Council.
A Senior Dance will be held in the park's recreation center on Friday night from 5 to 9 p.m.
