Enter by Friday for a Free Night of Theater
LA Stage Alliance invites you to request tickets for up to five live performances.
During September, LA Stage Alliance is offering a rarity in this day and age -- a chance to see live theater "on the house."
You simply go to their website and enter their ticket giveaway until Friday, Sept. 23. On that date the drawing will begin. By Sept. 28, you will receive an email letting you know if you've won the tickets. It's that easy! (Even if you don't win the tickets, most arts organizations will contact you to make you other offers as Free Night Patrons -- so you can't lose.)
LA Stage Alliance's Free Night of Theater is intended to give audiences an opportunity to experience new arts organizations. It's astonishing how many companies in the Los Angeles area are currently in production. With so many from which to choose, LA Stage Alliance requests that you select five performances of companies you haven't seen in the past 12 months.
LA Stage Alliance is part of Theatre Communications Group's "Free Night of Theatre 2011," represented in more than 23 states. An integral part of their long-range vision and strategic plan is audience development; this has long been identified by American professional not-for-profit theaters as one of the most pressing and ongoing issues. It is vitally important, especially given today's economic climate, for American theaters to attract new audiences.
The Friday deadline is coming up fast. For more information about "Free Theatre Night" and your chance to win tickets, go to freenightla.com.
