Chatsworth Adult Film Star Linked to Sexting Scandal
Ginger Lee worked for local production company.
The ripples of scandal around Congressman Anthony Weiner’s internet sexual tweets have reached Chatsworth with reports that the New York politician offered one of his online correspondents public relations help and may have instructed her to lie to the press.
The woman in question is former adult film actress Ginger Lee who starred in several films for the Chatsworth-based production company Red Light District.
In an email leaked to gossip site TMZ, Weiner allegedly messaged Lee saying, “Do you need to talk to a professional PR type person to give u [sic] advice? I can have someone on my team call.”
The legitimacy of these emails remains to be seen, but if they are real and it can be proven that Weiner was discussing using a member of his Congressional staff, as opposed to hiring outside PR counsel, then he could be found in breach of House ethics regulations and face charges for misuse of public funds.
During a press conference on Monday, Weiner denied that he had instructed a Seattle college student who was the intended recipient of the initial tweet to lie to the press, but declined to answer similar queries regarding Lee.
Meanwhile, conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart Wednesday appeared as a guest on The Opie & Anthony Show, a popular satellite radio program. While discussing his take on the events of the last two weeks he revealed another tweeted nude photo of the Congressman's genitals to those in the studio. While Breitbart claims that he will not release this photo to the public out of deference to the Congressman’s family, the image was captured by the station’s live feed cameras, thus sharing it with the worldwide web.
The scandal began when Breibart published a piece on May 28 displaying a tweeted sexual image that came from the Congressman’s twitter account. After initially claiming that his twitter had been hacked, Weiner admitted on June 6 that he had, in fact, sent the lurid images. There has been a House ethics probe sought into Weiner's activities. While Weiner admits moral failures on his part, he denies any legal wrongdoing and has said that he will cooperate with the investigation and he will not step down from office.
Monday, Weiner admitted to having online relationships with six women.
Ginger Lee is one of five women to come forward, according to the Huffington Post. In addition to Lee, the four others are: Traci Nobles, of Athens, Ga., who will be 35 this month; Meagan Broussard, a 26-year-old single mother from Texas; Lisa Weiss, a blackjack dealer in Las Vegas, who released explicit Facebook chat logs to RadarOnline.com; and Gennette Cordova, a 21-year-old college student in Washington state.
